Full article:
Mark Plunkett (manager, Ronan Keating, Boyzone) : When Ronan became a solo artist, previously Boyzone had been with Louis Parker, god rest his soul, so when Louis passed away we brought John Giddings in.
It struck me right away that he was a very good people person, and he has developed a very good relationship with myself and with Ronan as an artist. He has a passion for music which comes across and you can see he’s a music fan.
He’s quite selective about who he wants to work with. Essentially, I think he just works with people whose music he likes, and who he gets on with.
He understands that someone like Ronan is not just in it for the short-term gain, and that he wants to make a career out of music. We have long-term strategies that John is absolutely keyed-in with.
He’s a very loyal person, which you can see from the various long-term relationships he has established around the world.
