Phil Bowdery (production manager) : We went behind the Iron Curtain – to communist Poland. It was a strange place and full of those experiences that make you realise how much you take for granted in your daily life. There was a running joke that if you left $1m in cash and a packet of toilet rolls in a locked room, you’d come back to find the $1m still there but the toilet rolls gone. One of the guys from the Polish production office had never seen an orange before. We gave him one of ours but he didn’t know what to do with it.
