Roger McGuinn (The Byrds] : Ready, Steady, Go! could be a bit of a stuffy show, but we'd been touring in the States and we'd picked up these little fireworks, and if you stepped on them, they'd explode like electrical sparks. So Crosby and I set off some of these things on the studio floor, and it caused mayhem. There was smoke everywhere. They shut down the studio and checked all the cables. It was great. They really thought something had short-circuited. And we didn't tell them otherwise.
