Gay Mercader (promoter, Spain) : As a band, they all deliver, but Angus Young almost kills himself onstage. At Barcelona, half an hour before the show, I asked Angus’s wife, Ellen, where he got his energy from, and she just said, "Watch the audience. That’s where he gets it." So when he went on stage, I watched the interaction between him and the audience and, yes, it’s true. That’s where he gets his energy. It’s amazing to see. You could cook a chicken under all those lights. He should be dead, but when the audience goes bananas it drives him on.
