The day after a riot has closed down The Newport Jazz Festival, in Newport, Rhode Island, USA, a group of country and jazz artists take part in a spontaneous jam session on the lawn ofa rented mansion nearby. Artists performing include Hank Garland and Chet Atkins (guitars), Gary Burton (Vibes), Brenton Banks (violin, piano), Floyd Cramer (piano), Bob Moore (bass), Buddy Harman (drums) and Boots Randolph (tenor sax). The results will be released as an album entitled After The Riot In Newport by The Nashville All-Stars.
