Jimmy Tarbuck (UK comedian) : John Lennon was always a good laugh. One night, after Cilla Black had been on The Palladium, Jane Asher's brother, who had flaming red hair - came in the room. He made a bit of an entrance, and Lennon said to him, 'You were great tonight, Cilla.' We all roared laughing.
