John Gustafson (bass, Big Three) : We played with violence and attack, and our drumming was loud and raucous. There was much bashing of cymbals and all this was combined with the obscure r'n'b material that we chose. We were the first in the field with Some Other Guy and Money. We were a rowdy R'n'B band and I suppose that, had we compromised, we'd have got more gigs.
