Bruce Eskowitz (Manager, Lionel Richie) : The show we did in the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan, a sold-out amphitheatre gig, was on his birthday, so we had Kid Rock come out at the end and present him with a birthday cake. There were also video messages for him with happy birthday wishes from Quincy Jones, Barbra Streisand, Tim McGraw, Enrique Eglesias, Lenny Kravitz. That made it a really special night in celebration of his birthday. Lionel is one of those guys who has the respect of just about everybody in the industry.
