Roger Daltrey : I was never really serious about my solo career. It was just, when The Who weren’t working, I got bored. I fell into it because Leo Sayer was recording demos in my barn and he couldn’t get a deal, so I said, ‘Right, I’ll record some of you songs.’ My first album was a hit, but I’d rather have done four or five more Who albums instead.
