Donald Fagen (Steely Dan) : When my partner Walter Becker and I first moved out to Los Angeles, one of the first big songs at the time was Heart Of Gold. I remember hearing it playing, driving along the freeways. Nell Young is a really original artist and I think his honesty and originality are something you hear in this great song.
