Short story:

Confederate General Thomas Stonewall Jackson dies of complications of pneumonia, aged 39, at Guinea Station, Virginia, USA. He had been wounded in battle at Chancellorsville and, after having his arm amputated, pneumonia had set in. His death will inspire the 1929 song The Death Of Stonewall Jackson by The Carson Robison Trio. There is also an earlier tribute entitled Stonewall Jackson's Way thought to have been composed in 1862.
