Dennis Wilcock (vocalist, iron Maiden) : We won a talent competition as Iron Maiden. It was the Queen's Theatre, Hornchurch, Essex, and Nicky Horne from Capital Radio was the judge. We actually won it, but they thought we must be professional because we were so tight, so they dropped us down to second place.
