Ivan Kushlik (tour manager, Kings Of Leon) : I remember back in 2009, arguing with the promoter onstage at Benecassim, because there was a gale blowing and I was worried if it was safe for the band to perform. While we were arguing, we heard a loud creaking noise above us and a scaffolding pole fell down out of the ceiling and pierced right through the stage. At that point, we agreed to shake hands and decided it was not safe for the show to go on.
