Phil Collins (drummer, Flaming Youth) : It was very schizophrenic because we used to go to gigs and play our regular band stuff at the beginning of the set and then follow that with the album material. Mainly, we used to take other people's numbers apart and put them back together again so you could hardly recognise them. People who liked the first part of the show generally hated the second.
After a year, I decided that it was going nowhere and I left.
