Fact #100958
When:
Short story:
John Lennon of The Beatles helicopters to the Isle Of Wight, England, UK, Europe, to visit Bob Dylan.
Full article:
Ray Foulk (IOW festival organiser) : Lots of helicopters were landing by and using a field next to the farmhouse, and then the visitors would make their way across the field into the grounds of Forelands. The grounds were well kept by a gardener and were immaculate. Then this helicopter appeared and flew over. However, it didn't put down in the field like the rest but landed right down on the lawn, blowing all the flowers away, much to the rage of the gardener. Out of the helicopter strolled John Lennon.
