Joseph Paul Katzberg is born in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He will
find success as Jody Gibson, a gifted banjo and guitar player, and lead singer
of rockabilly group Jody Gibson And The Muleskinners. He is best
known for his recordings of the songs Muleskinner
Blues and Good Morning Captain. The single Good Morning Captain
will sell more than 500,000 copies, and Gibson will later be
inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of
Fame.
