Shantel Jackson, the girlfriend of rapper Nelly, defends him against recent sexual assault allegations in an Instagram post. Jackson states that Nelly could not have sexually assaulted the anonymous women currently accusing him because she was "at those venues, in the dressing rooms, and on that tour bus." (In October 2017, college student Monique Green had claimed that Nelly raped her on his tour bus after a concert in Washington state, and two more women have since claimed they experienced a similar ordeal.

It is widely reported that overzealous Katy Perry fan Pawel Jurski is now facing deportation after having been found guilty of stalking the singer. Jurski is said to have followed Perry's tour and attended at least six different shows in 20 days, making efforts to reach the singer at each concert. According to a police report, he was also in Chicago, Illinois in late October 2071 where he allegedly followed the singer to a steakhouse.
