Riding out the storm in a Brooklyn hotel, singer-songwriter Aimee Mann is inspired to re-write the Barry Manilow hit Mandy as Sandy. Three days later, when she plays a show in Tarrytown Music Hall, Tarrytown, Westchester County, New York State, USA, she debuts the song live, lifting the spirits of the crowd.
