Four teenage girls, Amy Ayres, Jennifer Harbison, Sarah Harbison and Eliza Thomas, are murdered in the I Can't Believe It's Yogurt shop in Austin, Texas, USA. This horrific killing spree will enter the annals of infamy as The Austin Yogurt Shop Murders but despite several confessions, no one will ever be sentenced for the crime. In 2002, Okkervil River will record and release the song Westfall, inspired by the incident.
