Jimi Hendrix (in his deposition) : The label creates the impression that Knight and I recorded as at least equal performers, which is untrue. My involvement was completely subordinated and accomodated to Knight's musical personality and ability, which are the obligations of a 'session man'. The record therefore conveys a completely erroneous, unflattering and unfavourable impression of my talents and abilities.
