Associated Press in the USA releases a story which indirectly links The Byrds with psychedelic drugs. The story includes a comment by Byrds member David Crosby in answer to a question about psychedelic music: 'The only way we could perform [psychedelic music] would be to have all the musicians on LSD! I don't think we've ever managed to play any jobs on LSD.'
