, where they adopted the nom-de-plume Mark Markwell and composed such hits as Can't Help Falling In Love for Elvis Presley
and Oh-Oh Falling In Love Again for Jimmie Rodgers
. Developing their production skills at RCA, they worked with Sam Cooke
and the Isley Brothers
, as well as producing The Tokens
' smash The Lion Sleeps Tonight. The pair then launched Avco Records where they wrote and produced hits for The Stylistics.
