Swedish jazz pianist and composer Esbjorn Svensson dies in a scuba diving accident on Ingaro, near Stockholm, Sweden, Europe, aged 44. Svensson was among the most influential jazz artists in recent history and his band e.s.t. was considered Europe's most successful jazz group, famed for its innovative blending of jazz with contemporary rock.
