Full article:

Clem Cattini (drummer, The Tornados) : Joe (producer Joe Meek) could be very moody. You never knew what frame of mind he was in. One minute you could be having a laugh with him and next minute … well, it happened to me when we were recording Globetrotter, which was the follow-up to Telstar. I never liked the song, and still don't to this day, to be honest. I always felt our second record should have been Ridin' The Wind, which was written by George Bellamy and was released in America. Instead, we did Globetrotter. Joe said, 'What do you think of it?' And I said, 'I don't like it.'

The next minute, all hell broke loose. He chased me up and down the stairs and said, 'Get out! Get out!' I heard this clatter-clatter noise, turned round, and there was this tape recorder following me down the stairs. He'd thrown the machine at me and I'm not talking about a small one. It was one of those big EMI things.
