It is announced that the wives of two men who were killed along with blues-rock guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan in a 1990 helicopter crash are to receive more than $2m in a legal settlement. The helicopter's owner, Omniflight Helicopters Inc. of Dallas, will pay the women lifetime annual incomes at least equal to the incomes their husbands earned at the time of their death.
