Yekaterina Samutsevich, a member of Russian feminist band Pussy Riot, is freed on appeal in court in Moscow, Russia, Europe, on the grounds that she did not take part in February's 'punk prayer
protest' against Russian President Vladimir Putin. [She was led
away by security men before the incident took place.] Sentences for
two other members of the band are upheld by the appeal court.
