Felix Headley Bennett is born in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies, Caribbean. He will find success as ska, rocksteady and reggae saxophonist Headley Bennett, who will perform on hundreds of recordings beginning in the 1950s. Nicknamed Deadly Headley, he will play in the Studio One house band and on recordings featuring Bob Marley, Leslie Kong, The Abyssinians, Alton Ellis, and Prince Far I among many others.
