A US patent is applied for by a German citizen, Alfred Keller, in respect of an operating mechanism for automatic musical instruments. The object of Keller's invention is to provide a simple, durable, and reliable construction by means of which the tune sheet or disk of an automatic musical instrument may be driven. The application will be granted in 1905.
