Huey P. Meaux (producer) : They came from Prairieville, Louisiana, USA. She was a good-looking thing, man, she had a high-pitched voice and could sing real good. Dale, to me, couldn't sing nothing, but together they made a sound that was as commercial as it could possibly be.

He fell in love with her and she couldn't stand him. She was the worst cusser I ever heard in my life, besides Janis Joplin. Every other word was bad.

They were so hot, and the hometown newspaper had decided to do a story on them. This uptown lady came into the studio and she couldn't really believe they were from the swamps. Grace was having a lot of problems with Dale in the studio, and he reached out and patted her on the booty. She let out some cusswords and she rushed round to the control room and said, 'Huey, I love you, I'm thankful for what you've done, but I can't take this idiot any more. I'm going home.' And she's been home ever since, man. She walked right out of there and that was the end of Dale And Grace.
