The Beatles are playing during six nights at The Odeon, Southport, England, UK, Europe. It is thought that on the second-last of these shows (30th), Cilla Black appeared as a support act. Also on the bill are Gerry And The Pacemakers, The Fourmost, The Sons Of The Piltdown Men, Tommy Quickly, Gary And Lee and Tommy Wallis And Beryl. The Beatles are filmed for the BBC-tv documentary The Mersey Sound.
