Wayne Forte (President, Encourage Talent Associates, New York City) : We launched the Serious Moonlight Tour dates with an on-sale for Gothenburg Stadium. It was the only stadium on the initial schedule of shows, at the urging of Swedish promoter Thomas Johansson. Then Thomas called me at home and woke me at 6am on the sale day, to advise me it was virtually sold-out already. He also said that he wanted to add another one! In the haze of 6am and having awaken from a deep sleep, I simply said, “If you think so Thomas, let’s do it!” We sold that one out as well and went on to add stadium dates across the balance of the World Tour, as arena shows sold-out.
