Brian McCollum (reviewer, Detroit Free Press) : Amid a tastefully simple set and flanked by a 16-piece backing crew, Hill took the stage clad in denim, a bright pink top and colorful head wrap, setting the tone early with Bob Marley's Songs of Freedom.

Despite looseness around the edges - particularly the band's synchronizing with DJ Leon Higgins - there's nothing to stop this show from emerging as one of the tightest, baddest live performances of the year.
