While performing Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting during one of his Million Dollar Piano shows in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, Elton John is struck by a beaded necklace thrown across the top of his piano, hitting him in the mouth. The incident occurs shortly after John had invited fans in the front row to come up and join him onstage, and it is assumed that one of those fans threww the necklace. After recovering from the shock, Elton continued on with the show.
