Paul Korzilius (manager, Bon Jovi) : I was astounded because the tickets only went on sale one week in advance for the show, which seemed unthinkable, until the Brazilian promoter, Jose Muniz, explained to me that inflation was so high that if he put the tickets on sale for 100 reals, they’d only be worth 80 a month later. But it sold out, 50,000 people, which seemed incredible to us.
