Jose Feliciano : I really dug The Doors. I thought what they were doing was great and I particularly loved that song. I started doing it in my live shows and my producer, Rick Gerrard said, 'Why don't you record it?' So I did.

And then several decades later, Will Young had a hit with it in the UK, using an exact copy of my arrangement. I really don't mind, because it brought my name back to the attention of the British public and enabled me to tour there again. I wish Will Young all the very best.
