I don't generally review re-issues but this is impossible to ignore and justifiable because, being a 4CD set, it contains more new and hard-to-find material than it does straightforward re-issue. Lest you don't already know, Motorpsycho is a wayward psychedelic trio from Trondheim, Norway, who for over 20 years have been making breath-takingly exciting guitar-oriented rock of startling originality which is also 100% true to the spirit of San Francisco in 1967. Blissard, from 1996, was arguably their high point, and a must-have for psych-heads, while the other three CDs are crammed with enlightening insights into the crazy and delightful Motorpsycho mindset.
