Music trade magazine Billboard in the USA reports that three radio stations in the Chicago area have recently introduced "progressive rock programs". Music played on these stations includes The Velvet Underground, Arlo Guthrie, Vanilla Fudge and Ravi Shankar. (N.B. Such music would, in later years, be catagorised as Underground). The magazine also lists five full-time progressive radio stations and thirteen part-time progressive stations across the USA.
