The studio was owned by musician Leon Russell, and used by artists including Willie Nelson, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Dwight Twilley, Dr. John, JJ Cale, The Gap Band, Freddie King, Phoebe Snow, Peter Tosh and Tom Petty.
