Michael Putland : One of my most vivid Zappa memories is of photographing him at The Rainbow in London where there was a guy, who was angry because his girlfriend was besotted with Zappa. Towards the end of the show, this guy leapt onto the stage, literally using my shoulder as his springboard, sending me flying. Then he knocked Zappa into the pit where he broke his leg.
