Michael Putland : I worked quite a lot with The Osmonds, and I joined them on this tour immediately after coming off a Rolling Stones tour in Europe. The band were lovely, but it really wasn't what I had become used to. Financially, of course, it was great to be able to shoot them, because they were huge. I remember the PR for Polydor saying to me, "You look quite ashen Michael". I was sitting at the back of the plane drinking milk because there was nothing alcoholic!
