Full article:

Greg (second name not known) : I was working at the Twin Coaches the weekend when it burned down. Sammy Davis, Jr was performing there. I was working the lighting crew for his show. We did 2 shows Friday night, 2 shows Saturday, and was scheduled for a matinee show on Sunday. When I showed up to work Sunday they said there had been a fire in the kitchen and the club was closed the show was cancelled. It didn't look like major damage. When I got up the next day my brother told me the place had burned to the ground overnight. I didn't believe him at first and said I was there and the fire was out. The offical story was the fire had flaired up again overnight and totally destroyed the club. As for Sammy's show, I was only 20 at the time not exactly my kind of music, but even today I still recall that was one of the best live shows I have ever seen. He was a true professional and a great entertainer.
