Full article:

Whether you know it or not, you’ve probably heard Roger Goula’s music. He’s a prolific film and tv score composer, whose music for the award-winning Frankenstein Chronicles is just one of many acclaimed achievements. With Overview Effect, he has placed himself centre-stage as an artist, seamlessly blending electronics with traditional orchestral elements and field recordings to create a musical representation of the complex emotions evoked in astronauts on seeing the earth from space. Fans of Mike Oldfield, Pink Floyd or Philip Glass should lap this up and Goula has the chops to hit the crossover market dead centre with this hauntingly ethereal space trip.
