Ritchie Furay (Buffalo Springfield] : Ondine's was a disaster from my standpoint. I will say we brought it back to life from a slow period, but New York was cold and dismal – a typical winter, however – and for anyone who was used to it, it seemed natural. We weren't all cooped up with our colds and sore throats in a suite at the Wellington Hotel. There were three rooms and seven or eight of us on beds, cots and the floor. We were doing three long shows a night and, because of our sicknesses, it was quite hard to get it together.
