The Morning Star newspaper of Wilmington, North Carolina, USA, reports that the city has outlawed "dance creations of questionable nature" such as the Shimmy Shivers, the Tank Tango and the Prohibition Jag. Dancers performing such immoral dances are to be ejected from the dance floor. This is part of an ongoing national attempt to ban dances considered improper, and usually performed to the accompaniment of ragtime or jazz music.
