Alain Lahana (Promoter, Le Rat Des Villes, Paris, France) : The Ramones agent, John Giddings, wanted a date for them in the South of France, so I booked Bordeaux, but the band arrived incredibly late. I had thought they’d be coming from Spain, but it turned out they were actually coming from Milan in Italy which is much further away.
