Full article:

Alan Edwards (publicist, The Outside Organisation) : One memory I have that made me chuckle, although wasn’t so funny at the time, was a game of table tennis the agent John Giddings and I had at The Point in Dublin.  It was during a Big Country concert and as we’d seen them quite a few times by then already, we became engrossed in the game backstage.  Unbeknownst to us there was no roof on the room where we were playing in and the sound was being picked up on the speaker system between songs. So between In a Big Country and  The Seer for example, the silence was punctuated with the sound of ‘ping…pong…ping…pong’ ... with a few expletives and so on.  After the gig John and I went backstage to congratulate the band and Stuart Adamson knew immediately who was responsible for disrupting the show. He was not pleased and we left the dressing room in a hurry to put it mildly!
