Frankie Valli of The Four Seasons is arrested at Ohio State Fair, Springfield, Ohio, USA. Valli himself had done nothing wrong, but the band's manager had failed to pay $375 to the local Holiday Inn where the band had been staying. Valli is released shortly after when one of the other band members, Tommy De Vito, pays the outstanding amount.
