John Burgoyne (audience) : The Starlite was the local dance hall where I'd go with my mates at the weekend. It was up these narrow stairs. The Who started to play there regularly More than the music, I particularly remember that as they finished Keith kicked his drum kit over and walked off, leaving the drums all over the stage.
