Albert Collins (guitarist) : I met Hendrix when he was playing with Little Richard… Oooh man, he was powerful even then, he could play some blues. I was in this little club called the Club 500 in Houston. So Little Richard says, 'I got this guy with me, I want you to hear him play, he can play so good.' So I said, 'Bring him around tomorrow night'. Then Little Richard come up and introduced us, and Jimmy asked if he could sit in.
