Chas Chandler : If I regret one thing, it was getting Mike Jeffery involved. I didn't really have a choice. Jeffery was the one with the money and the contacts. But it was also Jeffery who later pulled us apart.
Brian Auger (organist) : He (Jeffrey) was somebody who I really didn't like, in fact to put it bluntly, I thought he was an out and out crook. I didn't really want to have anything to do with him.
Roger Mayer (electronic effects designer) : When I met Michael Jeffery, he was the type of person that I made out very quickly that I didn’t want to deal with.
Trixie Sullivan (Jeffery's personal assistant) : I liked Mike very much. He was really something special. He was an incredibly talented man and could see talent in other people. He was shy and always stood back. But he was one tough guy, and bloody clever.
Jimi Hendrix : The things they told me, I really believed. Like, they would spend money on me, the promotion plus the expenses, plus equipment. And I had a salary a week. I t was like hotel bills were paid, clothes, you know? Any time I asked for money they gave it to me.
